The concert of talented soloists Asya Fateyeva (saxophone) and Darya Tchaikovskaya (piano) was held on the 20th of December in the Chamber Hall of the Moscow Philharmonic Society named in honor of Pyotr Tchaikovsky with the support of the Association PKI.

S. Prokofiev – a scene of farewell from the ballet suite “Romeo and Juliet”
A. Tchaikovsky – sonata fantasia – “Florentine phantom” for piano, Op. 120 [Russian premiere]
A. Shor – “Verdiana”
J. Demersseman – fantasies on the theme “Le Carnival De Venise”, Op. 7
Cr. Loba – fantasies on the themes from operas

 

Asya Fateyeva is the winner of numerous international competitions in France and Germany. In 2014 she won the III prize at the Adolf Saks’ international competition of saxophonists in Dinana (Belgium) and became the first female winner for all 20-year history of a competition. Also, she is the winner of the Youth award “Triumph” (2004), award of Zonta International Foundation (2012) and an award of Berenberg Bank Foundation in the field of culture (2015). In 2016 she got the honourable prize ECHO for the first disk in category “young generation of the year”.

Darya Tchaykovskaya is the numerous winner of German and international competitions. Her credentials as a pianist are victories at the International junior competition “Steinway” in Hamburg (Germany), the International competition on Ibiza (Spain), the International competition of V. Bellini (Italy), the International competition in Gorition (Italy) and other musical competitions.
